If any part of your order is out of stock at the time the order is placed, we will usually gain pre-authorisation of the order amount from your card issuer but the total amount of the order will not be charged until the goods ship. We are all aware of the huge amount of credit card fraud, on and off the 'net'. In an effort to stem this problem banks, and credit card companies, have developed the ‘V-Code’ (verification code) system.
The V-Code does not appear when a store makes an imprint of your card during a purchase. Therefore, anyone illegally trying to use those copies, or carbons, would not be able to complete a transaction since they do not have the credit card with them, and they do not know the V-Code number.

We ask you to supply this number with all transactions and do not store it anywhere on our system after the transaction for which it was given has been processed.
