This is the top isoflavone product. While other isoflavone supplements offer high doses of non-active isoflavones, Soyagen offers the highest concentration of active isoflavones in any whole food. Soyagen is produced from organic, GM free soya by the Ultra Food Form method which naturally maximises the active isoflavones. Most soya supplements offer 35-40mg isoflavones, but little of this can be used unless the individual has a thriving bacterial flora to activate them (by detaching a sugar molecule). However most Japanese soya foods (miso, tempeh, natto etc) are fermented, and the isoflavones are ready-activated by the fermenting culture. Two tablets of Soyagen® contain as many active isoflavones as 150 grams of tofu. Three to six tablets provide the level of active isoflavones that Japanese, on average, consume daily.
