Beta Carotene is also thoug ht to help night vision, and may help to maintain the body's natural defences. We believe that this is the only truly vegan Beta Carotene available.

The UK Foods Standards Agency advises that Beta-Carotene in dosage amounts higher than 7mg should not be taken by heavy smokers
Dosage
Take 1-3 tablets (children over 8 years, 1 tablet) a day with or between meals. As a guide, 6mg of True Food® Beta Carotene is comparable to 15mg of standard isolated beta carotene supplements.
