There are growing fears that with a rise of Candida to almost epidemic proportions come the risks of over use of anti-fungal drugs and the long term negative effects they may have on our liver. It is also widely believed by nutritionists that Candida may develop a resistance to many anti-fungal medications whilst their method of killing the yeast increases the amount of toxins released by the yeast, triggering 'die off' reactions that many people find unbearable and again increasing the burden upon our immune system.

Cautions
IMPORTANT Individuals with gastritis or inflammatory bowel conditions and those taking timed release thyroid medications with a cellulose base should avoid using CandiGest or CandiGest Plus. CandiGest and CandiGest Plus are not recommended during pregnancy but at recommended dosages have not shown adverse affects during lactation or breastfeeding
Dosage
Taking four capsules of Candigest per day (two in the morning, an hour before breakfast, and two at bedtime, at least two hours after eating) normally produces profound improvements in 6 to 30 days. The time needed for maximum benefit varies, however, because we each have different amounts of yeast to overcome, different levels of immune support, different levels of healthy probiotics, different dietary habits, varying levels of stress and different prescribed medications, for maximum benefit, those with long-standing problems may need four capsules a day for several months. The rule of thumb is that whenever you begin to feel as well as you think you should, reduce your dosage from four capsules to three per day for a week. The next week reduce from three to two per day, and finally one per day for a week. If you continue to feel well, maintain dosage at one capsule per day. Remember, dietary sugars, pharmaceutical drugs, and chlorinated water may trigger renewed outbreaks of Candida.
